Summary

Area Charts speak the language of minimalist art. Perhaps because like minimalist art they bring everything down to lines, space and colors. "Ups and Downs" is the title of the first of a limited series of Area Charts made with bees wax. Together with the tactile and fragrant quality of the beeswax the piece complements and contrasts with the abstract nature of numbers and charts.
