Which SOIL Member Are You?
Strangers from almost 3,000 miles away, SOIL gallery presents its own personality quiz as a means of introduction to SPRING/BREAK Art Show. Which SOIL Member Are You? matches participant to SOIL members through the algorithm of the quiz. Questions seek to frame personal preferences, narratives and characteristics of the quiz taker and to create parallels between themselves and SOIL members.
Reinventing the Wheel
Description
Colors are as evasive as moving targets and as targets they are portrayed in three distinctive arrangements of Red, Yellow and Blue color scheme. The relative nature of color or their instability is at the core of Reinventing the Wheel, which displays pigments of both primary and secondary colors to form a new and personal color wheel. The piece is part of a SOIL’s collective exhibition entitled: Which SOIL Member Are You? In New York City for SPRING/BREAK Art Show. Relative, unstable and emotional are a few attributes that I share with colors.
